Windshield wipers stopped working

Four cylinder front wheel drive automatic 48,000 miles

Initially the intermittent wipers would not work properly. They would come on, but only once and get stuck at half the normal motion. When changing to low or high speed however all would work. Last night the low and high speed stopped working as well. If the car has been sitting for a bit you can crank the car and turn the wipers on and they do attempt to move, but only half revolution and that is it. After this nothing works on them again. Would this be a bad wiper motor?

It could be the motor. Have you checked to see if the motor is getting power?

Krjsgm2006, did you find out the problem? My 2007 was doing the same thing, except for stopping between wipes, and now they stopped working completely. I hear a noise, clicking, when I go to high speed wipe position, but nothing otherwise.

Wondering if you found out the problem?
