2004 Ford Freestar Rear door latch stuck in locked position

My rear door is stuck in the closed and locked position. I removed the door cover panel and can access the latch mechanism. I need to manipulate it to unlock it so I can open the door. Is there any way to do this? Please help!

Hi akrema, Thank you for the donation. Use a flash light and a small screw driver or pic and find the rod that connects the latch to the lock rod pin. The part your are looking for should have a door lock acuator connected to it which is electric so it will have a connector and wires going to it. Mannualy push the latch over. Good luck
