2004 Ford Freestar Idling low and it cut off on me today.

I would like to know what could be the cause. When it shut off, it did restart. It was low in gas so I immediately put gas in it. It continued to idle low at the light and sounded as if it would cut off. The most recent problem I had was the battery that was replaced.

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge to rule the fuel filter/intank pick-up sock and fuel pump
