2004 Ford Freestar Charging light remains on ater repairs

AC replaced one month ago. Last week alternator went bad. Replaced alternator and battery.
haring light still on, But system tests OK;
Will the charging light go out?

System can not be reset and the light should’ve went out upon replacing the alternator
check wiring and make sure connects clean on tight
you can also do a code scan
