Engine Performance problem
2006 Ford Focus 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 18/24 miles

I recently purchased a 2006 Ford Focus SE ZX4 from my local Ford dealer. The gas mileage sucks...i get only 18 mpg for mostly city driving....and it has recently been tuned up...there only 40,000 miles on the car...what is going on?
