2005 Ford Focus temp gauge

I just bought the car two days ago. Everything runs smoothly, but I have noticed that the temp. gauge on the dash always stays near the cooler side. It never goes all the way down, but stays in between cool and normal. How can I fix this so that it does not turn into something serious over time?

Try replacing the thermostat make sure its the correct one for your engine.
