There is a sound like a pop corn machine coming from the driver side front end. When I drive or even push on the front of the car manually it makes this noise. My machanic also notice that on the passanger side the front wheel was a little cockeyed. Is this dangerous?
What do you think the noise is?
Thank you,
Amanda

Have you inspected the coil springs for the front struts? They have a reputation of breaking. Ford knows about it and there is a recall based on a "service only when broken" basis. I believe the recall is still current, but you should check with your local dealer.
