Hi,

I seem to be getting a rattle. Initially I thought it was a bush somewhere on the suspension but it seems to be on steering feedback. When stationary I move the steering back and forth, the rattle appears to be or at least sounds like it is coming from behind the rack boot on the nearside Right hand side of a righthand drive car. Any thoughts please.

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

The inner tie rod end which is under this boot would have to be very badly worn to rattle, i would have all the steering & steering rack mount checked, check the slip coupling for the steering column and rack , also have the sway bar links and mounts check, start here.
