2003 Ford Focus Is it the suspension?

I had a similar sounding problem. One of the suggestions made was that I check the support bearing on the drive shaft. Ford has since discontinued them so to replace it I had to buy a shaft assembly which had it pressed on. The problem was solved.

Hi! Here's a real puzzle for you: so far my car's problem has stumped two master mechanics and a transmission man;

I have 2003 Ford Focus ZX5, Manual; a set of sounds come from underneath, all agree the sounds seem to be coming from the passenger side front; the noises more noticeable upon turning right, and gets worse with incline and/or acceleration.

The noise is an occasional bump and a nealy consistance soft grind, almost a gear sound(hence getting the tranny guy involved) but there's no slippage or loss of power.

Here's what's been done so far:
Hub and Bearings replaced on BOTH sides, front passenger and driver. Front Axle NOT replaced.

Two NEW tires on the front>>the two other ones had fine tread, but were in fact lumpy. Cause?or Effect?

Two mechanics told me they DON'T supect the supension because the noise increases upon acceleration.
