2003 Ford Focus Dash board light

When I turn on the head lights at night only half of the MPH control panel light up. Everything else lights up. I.E 0 mph to 70 mph does not light up but 70 mph to 140 mph does. What causing this problem and is it easily fixed.

That depends on two things, if it's the SVT model or dimmable backlighting vs non dimmable...if your IS NOT SVT and HAS dimmable lights, it has convetional bulbs for that are, if it IS SVT or non dimmable, the cluster will need testing, repair or replacement...
