How do I reset the air bag sensor and release the seat belt.

The air bag light came on after running over a curb and now the driver's side seat belt won't retract completely or expand from the current setting(which is way too small).

The manual only say's you need to replace the seat belt after deployment. The SRS module needs to be reset with a computer using diagnostic software.

Replace After Deployment

Deployed air bag modules; Clockspring; Front seat(1) ; Instrument panel(2) ; Restraints Control Module (RCM); Deployed seat belt pretensioners; Seat belts(3) ; Side impact sensors; Wiring harness(4) ;

(3)All seat belt components, including retractors, buckles, front seat belt support assemblies (slider bar), child safety seat tether brackets and attaching hardware in use during a collision must be removed and new components installed.
