2002 Ford Focus mass air flow sensor

I just replaced the mass air flow sensorafter I took my car in to the shop twice. the first time they replaced the alternator because whenever I came to a stop my car would stall and turn off. then when I took it back the second time they said it was the mass air flow sensor. so I replaced that and now it is still stalling.
