Drive Train Axles Bearings problem

I have a 2002 Focus ZTS. The front drivers side wheel bearing started making noise last week. I bought the hub assembly from the parts store only to find the hub and bearing need to be pressed in. My question is, Can you tell me if once the bearing is pressed on the hub if it has to then be pressed on the spindle of the car?
