2001 Ford Focus EGR and PCV

Engine Performance problem
2001 Ford Focus Front Wheel Drive Automatic 92000 miles

I have taken it to the ford Dealer and they told me that with these three code i need to change the EGR and the PCV. The codes are as follows PO455, P1406, PO171 please tell me if this is correct or the right solution to the problem if not thank you.

Has anyone actually examined the car and tested these systems?

yes i have taken the car to ford and this is what they told was wrong. the car shakes early in the morning

Those things MAY resolve the P1406 and the PO171. The PO455 may have been for a loose gas cap but none of those things address that code.

i will ask if the valve or the egr itself needs changing

I can't confirm any diagnosis. All I can tell you is that the codes do relate to the components discussed but the actual diagnosis could be any number of things.
