Air Conditioning problem
2001 Ford Focus 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Air compressor runs, but fan doesn't run on settings 1,2,3 even though indicator light, on air conditioner switch, is on. When fan is turned to setting 4, the fan runs but indicator light, on air conditioner switch, is off. If switch is set on any of the settings 1,2 or 3 for a short time and then turned to setting 4, cool air is blown for a few seconds. I suspect a relay or module to be the problem but, I am at a lost as to where to start.

Inspect and test the blower motor relay and the blower motor resistor, also test the blower switch.
