2001 Ford Focus AC compessor doesnt work

I have ac problems I try to turn on my ac and it turns on from the inside but the compressor doesnt turn on. Also when I am driving I am parked and it just starts accelerating by itself

Check if it has freon in it by checking the pressures with a manifold gauges if okay could be a magnetic clutch failure if you apply power direct to the clutch and won't engage the compressor. Or an AC relay or pressure switch problem.
