2000 Ford Focus Timing belt, help!

Hey, great website! Couple things. Was on the highway on cruise when my timing belt died-- car was running just fine before that. Anyway, had the timing/seroentine belts replaced as well as the tensioner and starter. The problem now is that the car runs AWFUL. When I first picked it up I noticed it took much more force on the brake to stop. That has pretty much went away, but the car vibrates alot on the highway now and it's a little more sluggish then it was. Also, drives/idles rough with a slight jump/buck every now and then. What do you think this could be, timing off? Please help as this has already cost me a bit of money and I don't want to be ripped off with my limited knowledge of cars. Thanks so much.
