2000 Ford Focus heater not working

My temperature gauge never moves off cold no matter how far I drive if it's cold outside. So no warm air comes out vents or defroster. What could be wrong?

sounds to me like you have a stuck open thermostat. take the thermostat out and verify it for proper operation.
