the problem first started the battery light came on?

I have a 2000 ford focus manual trans 2.0 DOHC 100,000 MILES , the problem first started the battery light came on when the car was at crusing speeds but when accellerating it would go off, I had the battery tested at autozone and they said the battery was bad so I reaplaced the battery and still had the same prblem then I had it tested again at autozone and they said the alternator was putting out too much power and over charging the battery so I changed the alternator and every thing was good bor about four months eccept the battery light stayed on all the time, two days ago the car was just dead I charged the battery but it still discharges I have the old alternator and took it to be tested and was told it was still good.

please help with this I hate this car

I cant get the car to start I have jumped it and it started but now it wont do that any more and one more thing I didnt mention is the switch on the clutch peadal keeps coming off it will go back on but it still wont start also i think i have something draining the battery the voltage on both the batt and using the block are at 9.8 volts I a charging the battery right now.

#10 fuse is good all fuses have been checked and voltage on the charger is 12.45.

Hello

Ok I have charged the battery and voltage on battery not connected to the car was 14.00 and connected to the car voltage was 13.18 on both terminals and off block, and the car still wont start,
I have the battery disconnected because it seems like something is draining it fast.

No no arc but I can hear the fuel pump come on,
and Ijust tried to push start it and it wont start.

The fuel pump stops after a few seconds and there is no aftermarket anti theft it does have the factory one with the red light above the hazard button

Yes I have two keys one in it bilnks rapid with the other it doesnt

Ok i put both keys in glove box and tried to start but now the light does nothing no bilinking with both keys. and still wont start

does not blink every 4sec and does not turn over tyring key 2 now

Now I have tried both keys and have no blinking light at all and eng wont turn over or even cilck and didnt before.

both are the same 12.93 and bettery is dicherging as it is connected to the car with key off

the pos battery cable was getting hot the first time I got it running and it is burnt on the side of the battery but I cant get the whole harness off with out taking off the starter.

what do you mean get them apart I got them so they arent touching but they werent wire to wire, did you mean disconnect them. tested to make sure all fuses have power going through them all was ok but still no start and voltage now down to 12.65

now you got the car to turn over jumping the nuetral switch but will not fire up.

ok Ijust checked all fuses and when it wouldnt start i changed the fuel pump relay and it is now running with alt cable dissconn

voltage on batt ang off eng bolck are both at 12.45

reconn alt and now checked voltage and is 15.10 on batt and 15.10 on block

what and where is the PCM and i checked the alt and get no light whene conn to the alt red wire to alt terninal for the red wire so would this mean its the regulator

the test light comes for about 1 second, and alt light in the dash is still on.

I dont mind the light but I am going to trade this thing in next week for a larger car (I have 4 kids) and dont want any fuss about it.

As for the clutch switch whene I jump the two wires on the switch it wont start, I have to ground one of them to start it so it doesnt seem like its the switch.

I also have 1992 formustang that wont get power to fuel pump?

all relays have been changed and fuses checked.
