1999 Ford Focus problems going up hills. Please help

recently I find it difficult 2 go up hills when i'm in 1st r 2nd gear or even when i'm just taking off there is not much power, it seems fine when it picks up speed and when in 3rd or 4th gear, oil has been filled and was serviced about 5months ago.

I would check the timing belt. If it has slipped a tooth you will lose power.
