I have the car listed above SE model. There's a clicking noise every now and it sounds like it's coming from the steering column. Every now and then the car will shut off at a red light or it will hesitate to accelerate. Check engine light is on and I've had it tested at O'Reilly's and they're saying it's an air leak somewhere that is the only code is giving off

Do you have the actual code that they are giving? Just based on this info, I don't think the clicking is related to the cutting off. Can you tell me when exactly it is clicking?

Also, the cutting off and air leak sounds like a vacuum leak. Here is a guide that will help with that. However, let me know the actual code and i can get you the actual testing we need to do. Thanks

I cannot pinpoint where the clicking noise coming from but it sounds like it's coming from the ignition column or dash. And I don't have the code they gave me.

Okay. That helps. I attached the process for replacing the column as I suspect that is where the noise is coming from. However, I am not suggesting that you replace the column. I am providing this info so you can disassemble the column to the point of being able to see or hear better where the noise is coming from. I suspect it is one of the joints on the steering shaft but once these panels are out of the way, you will better be able to tell.
