Hi,

We recently experienced a drop in engine power will driving on ascending road (mountain driving).

Earlier, we could manage to climb the road in 2 & 3 gears, but yesterday the engine lost steam in 2nd and exhorted only on 1 st gear.

What could be the reason? Can bad fuel (adultered - suspected) suppress egine power?

Regards
Sunil

there could be numerous reason's bad fuel/pump being one of them ... a bad coil/plug etc. etc. ... is the check engine light on ? have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to see if there are any fault's showing on the system !!
