I have a 3 door Fiesta and both front seat clips that release the seat down so people can get in the back have broken. (The cable has pulled out of the bracket). I have had a price for the parts, which is fine, but Ford want £300 labour which I can not afford. Is this a job I would be able to do myself as I need to take the seats out and strip then down and am worried about the airbag sensors.
Thanks for your help

as long as you disconnect the battery and leave the vehicle to stand for a couple of minutes before starting work you have nothing to worry about with the airbag's ... just be careful near the seatbelt clips ..as you don't want to damage the wires on the pretensioners ..
