I have a fuel smell & "mayo" like substance coming from the engine when i take the oil filler cap off. I have changed head gasket, inlet manifold gasket, rocker cover gasket & cleaned the surfaces up. Also flushed cooling system & did oil change on completion. The overall performance of the car seems better to me & it has been a week now & the fuel smell & white sunstance is back. Any ideas wold be appriciated. Cheers,

i'm afraid if it's back the gasket is still bad ... could be fitted wrong ... bolt's not torqued correctly .. could even be a crack in the head ... you need to strip it down again .. have the head pressure tested to see if it is cracked or warped (bent) .. if it's not .. put it all back together with new gasket's making sure you torque it down in the correct sequence and to the correct torque .. sorry
