my 1999 Ford Fiesta 1400i (cvh) is heavy on petrol and I need info on tuning (timing and fuel injection)

There is no way nowadays to "tune" your vehicle like the old day's. Everything from timing to fuel consumption is controlled by the PCM/ECU. And sesors connected to it. The only real way of "tuning" your car is to have it electronically altered "mapped" via the PCM/ECU. You can still do the basic's like plug's/filters etc.
