1999 Ford Fiesta engine rev counter and speedo

1.25 zetec engine. Tried to start after 2-week lying. Engine just turned over, but noted that rev counter and speedo went right around the clock and have stuck there. After charging battery car started and is running OK. except that the two instruments are still stuck at right round the clock. How do I get them back to normal ?

this may have blown the gauge with the jump start .. you will have to have a garage/auto electrician check this for you ..
