1997 Ford Fiesta Front Wheel Drive Manual

about 2 years ago i had a replacement clutch kit.
2 years on i am now getting a problem where i cant put it into gear, i cant depress the clutch and when/if i do, i have to force the gear stick into position (feels like stick will break). again when/if i get it into gear it stalls straight away.

what could be wrong?

have the clutch checked !!
