1996 Ford Fiesta heater not working

My heater only blows out cold air. Any ideas?

Check the coolant level is correct. Locate the 2 heater core hoses (2x black hoses)which go through firewall in engine compartment to heater unit in passenger compartment. Run engine to normal operating temperature. Turn heater on to full heat and blow. Check the 2 hoses are BOTH getting hot to touch. If not, check/replace thermostat and flush the coolant system with a good cleaner. Let me know !

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
