1993 Ford Festiva bad repair

two days ago i changed my oil, without changing the oil filter. i also changed the air filter. since then my engine has been making awful noises, like a snare drum. what could it be?

your car has hydrolic above cam lifters wich are literally the highest positioned part in the engine " if your oil pressure is low due to a clogged oil sump screen " or if your {oil filter } is clogged' you will get alot of tapping sounds fron under your valve cover its the soun of your lifters struggling to stay alive ....i wish you the best of luck ....hope this helps
