4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 103918 miles

When I turn the heat on, it will blow hot on floor and windshield vents, but when I set the lever to front vents the air is cold. I found a person with the same problem, he said it just started doing this on his car one day, that before it would blow hot on front vents. Can you help?

Hello,

It sounds like you have a temperature or mode blend door problem. I would check the operation of the control cables to see if one has fallen off or needs adjustment. Here are some diagrams (below) so you can take a look at whats going on (below)

This guide may help as well

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken

what would cause the heater to NOT blow warm air. The vehicle (engine temp) heats up normal and does not over heat but all I get inside is cold air. The blower works just fine but like I said it only blows cold air on heater as wall as defrost. Any sugestions why?

Are the heater hoses hot? Might be a temp door under the dash that has a problem?
