1989 Ford Festiva 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual unknow miles

I have bought the above car and I have noticed that the wire coming from the choke is not hooked up and I was wanting to know if you might tell me what to look to hook it back up?

The wire from the choke goes to the back of the alternater.
