Thank you for creating this website so that us noobs can ask some questions and get some answers. I have two questions please:

I want to know what I have to replace or clean to service my air conditioning.

Also the hot air in my Ford is no longer working and I want to know what I could check or where I could start to resolve this issue.

Thank you for the advice.

Hi there,

There is a vacuum operated heater tap under the inlet manifold at the fire wall end, the taps often fail or the vacuum line has come off.
As for the A/c system, in Australia you must be a licensed A/C tech and equipment needed to do even the most basic service on a A/c is way out of the price range for home mechanics, you can no longer even buy top up cans of refrigerant, we have to show our accreditation to purchase any A/C gasses and account for all gasses used almost to the gram, thank you EPA.
