1997 Ford Falcon 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i can not get into petrol tank i've taken cover in boot off petrol lines and wires off theres a hose clamp over a black screw type clamp i've got the hose clamp off i'm having trouble with the black thing does it screw off or pop off how do i get that thing off thankyou

HI there, that is a huge plastic nut, there is a special tool to undo it, but if you very carefully tap it with a screw driver and hammer it will undo, just don't damage the plastic to much, it will come off with care.
