1994 Ford Falcon fitting plug leads

I am changing the plugs and damaged a plug lead, bought some new ones but can not get at the area to connect the new ones. Is this a job I should be able to do (fit the new leads) or do I need help. I cant get at the area the plud leads fit under the air cleaner etc. What do I have to take off

Is this the distributer version or the coil pack version?
