1991 Ford Fairmont Ruff Idle in Drive

Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Ford Fairmont 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 167.00 miles

I just got myself a 1991 Ford Fairmont 3.9ltr
It is basicly in very good conditon and got only 167.000km on the clock.
But It idle ruff when standing at a red light or just standing in drive (with the foot on the break)
I went and have it tuned,but having still the same Problem.
The Mechanic say it may be the transmission and or a Engine fault.
What could I been looking at here??

What kind of tune up minor or major?

Could be a leaking brake booster/EGR cracked open/idle speed control motor/vacuum leak
