1982 Ford Fairmont many problems

my car has been sputtering after being turned off, and today it started knocking, hesitating on the freeway,when I got home, I took the keys out, and it wouldn't shut off! It was smoking under the hood, in the back of the engine, and leaking oil underneath...can anyone advise me on what this could be? thanks!

what yo udescribe is dieseling. the car was idling to fast and caused this. It probably needs a good tune up and have the pcv hose cleaned out as they used to gum up and get blocked. The 6 cylinders had a problem with clogging the pcv hose.
