1981 Ford Fairmont battery wont hold charge

i replaced the alternator- starter- voltage regulator - new battery starter solinoid. but after i drive it a day or two and when the lights are on i shut it off and battery is dead again thanks dave

Hi there,

Go back and start the checks from the beginning, make sure that the charge rate is between 13V & 14.5 V check the terminals are clean and tight, load test the battery for a faulty cell, and if that is all ok, have a current draw test done, this will show any circuit that is drawing battery current when it should not, start here.
