shakey steering wheel

i have a 1994 ford e-350 460cid.the symptoms i am have is a very shakey steering wheel at various speeds,or if i hit a bump it will start to shake.but will stop on its on or if i slow down a bit will stop it temporarly but will soon return.thanks for your help

check suspension and steering for worn bushings, and loose connections, if found tighten or replace. (preferably replace for safety reasons)

Yeah, I see Knight's view too. check ball joint, tie rods and wheel bearing play for starters.
