A interior light got left on and the battery went dead, so I boosted it, but after that the check engine light is on. It starts fine again, but the light won't go out. Could this be anything serious, or just a code that has to be cleared?

If the battery goes dead and vehicle is tried to crank some times sensor set a low voltage or open code. Have the vehicle scanned to see what code is setting. If it is a voltage code just have it cleared.
