2006 Ford F350 steering wheel controls

the controls on the steering wheel [fan/temp/radio/cruise control/horn] will not work.
Air bag light is flashing.

have changed the steering box due to a problem.
this problem occured after steering box changed.
Have checked all fuses, good.

any ideas?

Hi lost1951. Welcome to the forum. What happened is the steering wheel turned one or more revolutions while the steering shaft was disconnected and it broke the "clock spring" under the steering wheel. It's necessary to lock the steering wheel to prevent that from happening.

All of the systems you mentioned travel through the wound-up ribbon cable inside the clock spring. The dealer's parts department can order the proper replacement for you. It will be locked in its centered position, and the wheels must be straight ahead when it is installed.
