MY F350 WITH 6 LITER DIESEL WILL NOT START TODAY BUT IT STARTED YESTERDAY SFTER MUCH CRANKING, REPLACED BOTH BATTERIES THIS AM

Is the oil full and clean?
While cranking does the oil pressure guage go up?
Has fuel system been worked on recently?

Just trying to determine what is going on please answer these questions thanks
