Service light lite up on dash? What could be the problem?
Husband is out of time with truck with no internet service, please help. Thanks....

check fuel filler cap
make sure it on and tight
truck need to be scanned for codes
check auto zone they will do it for free

Check air filter for cleanliness. Check frequency of oil changes. at 102,000 miles in 2 years, its due for a lot of service. If its a service soon light, just service soon. Check engine light is a more important matter. Good luck

has the outline of the engine lit up. Is this the
service soon light or the check engine light?

Check engine light needs to be diagnosed.

Pull the codes, there is a problem with some misefire codes on the 5.4 motors. May get lucky with a pcm flash, but need the codes.
