I have a transmission fluid Leak. It leaks some where in the front and drips from the inspection cover. I not sure if it is coming out of the front seal or not. It only seems to leak after start and stop traffic. Recently I took about a 250 mile trip. After about 125 miles into the trip I stop at a rest stop. I looked and there was no fluid leaking. I drove another 100 or so miles on the interstate and then the last 25 miles of stop and go city traffic. When I arrived at my destination it was leaking. The return trip was the same thing. Today I drove about 25 or 30 miles with several stops. The first stop no leak, second stop some leaking and by the time I arrived home steady drip. The first stop was after highway driving. It does not seem to affect the tranny performance. Howerver it keeps me worried. This is a remanufactured transmission that I had to have put in at 52,500 miles.
I am not sure if this related. But my overdrive off light flashes when the truck is idling in park.

If you have fluid coming from under the inspection cover, there's only a few places for it to come from, the torque converter seal, from around the front pump housing, or from under the bolt heads for the pump housing.
