My truck went int 4wd low drive correctly but it won't come out. The hubs were not locked. The fuse is good. I have tested the four relays that are in the two boxes next to the under hood fuse box. These have only been tested by checking for resistance across the coils. These relays are not numbered so I simply tested all. I have disconnected my batteries and let the truck sit for about 6 hours before reconnection. About 6 months ago it had the cam position indicator replaced I have yet to check the power at the transfer motor. Beyond that I run out of ideas. Any input would be appreciated.

If it has cruise control unplug the connector for the switch it's on or just under the master cylender. See if this improves your symtoms, then get to Ford and see if yours is a recall part.
