1999 Ford F350 Popping Noise

I have a 99 F350 4X4. It has a manual transmission. When I first accelerate in first gear or in reverse, I hear a popping noise. It sounds like it is coming from the drive train, but im not 100% sure. Any suggestion?

i bet one of your u joints is falling out. have them checked.
