1999 Ford F350

We got a 99 ford f350 diesel dually it has a 7.3 motor. We had to pull start it about 2 foot to get it to run so we got new batterys for it. The problem with it is that when we got it running the truck was blowing oil through the turbo charger. We got new glow plugs for it. It runs really smooth it is just blowing white and blue smoke through the exaust. I want to know if the turbo is out or it it more serious. With the new batterys it will start and run.
