Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Ford F350 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

hace 7.5l old uhaul box truck. Sat for 3 weeks, ran before that fine. I parked it and now it won, t crank. Battery seems strong and fuel pump is working, oil was about 2 qts low. Distributor button looks ok. I removed what looks like a fuel filter from the fuel rail? And was able to blow through the larger of two ports. (The filter? Has two bottom ports and one top) probably something simple and I wanted to get some ideas of where to start before having her towed to a garage

Did you meant it will crank but will not start or just won't crank at all/nothing?

If its cranking over and refuses to start-Do below to determine if its fuel or spark problem.

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

Won't crank at all/nothing

Could be battery and connections, starter, starter relay, neutral safety switch, and ignition switch

It cranks but wont start. I tried ether but it wont start. I replaced the spark plugs, coil, and ICM, but it still wont start. Tried a new battery. Still wont start. There is a filter near the carburetor which the fuel goes through I disconnected it and turned the ignition switch and fuel pumped thriough the line as if itwere being pumped so I assume the fuel pump is working. There is a fuel filter under the truck coming from the tank with a spin on filter and itlooks ok. Could it be my starter? How can I tell? What is my next step? How about distributor? How can I tell? Any direction would be appreciated, you wont hurt my feelings. Jeff

No spark Tried ether won't start-plugs, coil, and ICM replaced-test the distributor pick-up coil resistances and short to ground not within specs-change the pick-up coil or replace the distributor. BTW do you have power to the coil positive terminal?
