I have a 95 ford with the 7.5 liter engine and 5 speed. It has over 200,00 miles on it. 7,000 miles ago I had a new 460 put in it and the clutch replaced.Well the clutch burned out the other day and I was wondering why it burned out so fast as I do not subject it to any abuse.

A few questions for you. Is it hydraulic or cable actuated? How did the clutch act when you got it back on the road, did it shift like butter or sort of hard, did it have any slip to it, was there any free travel in the clutch pedal? Let me know and I'll see if i can come up with some answers for you.
