1989 Ford F350 Replaced Battery and Starter

I replaced my battery and starter in my pick-up, now it will not start. I have electricity. I have replaced the positive battery cable.. at a loss? It just makes somewhat of a humming noise, but no turn over. Any ideas?

This new stuffs is it cranking the engine over or it cranks over and refuses to start? Lets get it going
