I have an 88 F350 with a 460. It started running a little rough and then died. it will not start. I have fire to the plugs. I changed the fuel filter, it was past due. I turn the key on and hear both pumps run. The pump in the tank is making a gurgling sound. They do not shut off. I thought the pumps should shut off when pressure was built up. I pushed the Schedar valve on the fuel rail and fuel sprays out. Is it possible to over pressurize the fuel system? I am out of ideas. Please help!
